The Recycling Bin

Organizing your recycling bin is easy; just follow these steps:

Paper should be bagged separately from the other materials to prevent contamination. This also keeps your paper from blowing away on windy days.	Place all of your glass, plastic, aluminum, tin and steel loose into the bin.  DO NOT place these items in bags - that's what your bin is for.	Paperboard and cardboard should be broken down flat and placed loose into your bin.  Larger pieces can be flattened then placed under the bin.
