Recycling Guidelines

• MIXED PAPER: newspaper, magazines, books, office paper, envelopes, phone books.

• FLATTENED CARDBOARD: corrugated cardboard boxes, brown bags, paperboard (cereal boxes, six-pack holders).

• PLASTICS: water and soda bottles, milk, shampoo, and cleaning jugs.

• TIN/STEEL CANS: aluminum soda cans, tin and steel food cans.

• COLORED AND CLEAR GLASS: glass jars, bottles and containers.

Materials not accepted

• Garbage
• Plastic bags
• Plastic lids
• Plastic shells (fruit/salad packaging, egg crates)
• Plastic tubs (yogurt/food tubs)
• Plastic baskets and nursery pots
• Plastic sheets/wrapping
• Paper towels/tissues
• Styrofoam
• Frosted glass
• Waxed milk/soy cartons and juice boxes
• Manila and padded envelopes
• Aluminum foil/pie tins
